About the conference
From October 30 to November 4, 2024, the V International Scientific Conference "Geotechnology, Mining, Rational Development of the Mineral Resource Complex, and Environmental Protection" (GeoTech-V 2024) was successfully held in Navoi, Uzbekistan. The event was organized by Navoi State Mining and Technological University with the support of leading universities and scientific organizations from Uzbekistan, Japan, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Chile.

The conference brought together scientists, specialists, and experts from universities, research institutes, industrial enterprises, and project and research centers from Uzbekistan and abroad.
The main goal of the conference was to facilitate the exchange of experience among leading specialists in the following areas:
- Innovative biogeochemical, geological, and geophysical technologies
- Development of transport infrastructure and energy
- Modern scientific and methodological foundations and practical solutions for implementing new technological paradigms in the mining and metallurgical industry
- Application of combined geotechnologies in the development of solid mineral deposits
- Implementation of automation tools and infrastructure solutions to improve energy efficiency and rational use of natural resources
- Reducing environmental risks and environmental protection
Special attention was given to educational innovations in geotechnology and environmental sciences, as well as the introduction of modern pedagogical approaches in engineering education.
All conference materials were reviewed, checked for originality and sent to AIP Conference Proceedings, indexed in the Scopus database.
GeoTech-V 2024 became a significant platform for sharing advanced scientific achievements, establishing new partnerships, and discussing current issues related to the sustainable development of the mineral resource sector and environmental protection.
